PPP: Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Arizona Now Toss-Ups in Trump-Harris Race
The latest poll from Public Policy Polling (D) found that swing states where Trump led by five to six points just a month ago are now much tighter. The poll, conducted from July 29-30 with between 618 to 662 registered voters per state, found that races in Georgia, Pennsylvania, and Arizona were all within two points.
The biggest change from a month ago is in Georgia, where the poll found Harris led by one point, 48%-47%. One month ago, Trump led Biden by 4.8 points in the RCP Average, but with this poll included, he only leads by 0.8 points in the latest RCP Average.
In Pennsylvania, the poll indicated that Trump still maintains a slim one-point lead, 48%-47%. Similarly to Georgia, Trump’s lead shrunk from 5.3 points on July 8 to 1.8 points in the latest RCP Average. In a previous PPP poll that took place from July 10-11 in Pennsylvania, Trump led Harris by six points.
In Arizona, the poll found Trump ahead by two points, 49%-47%. One month ago, he was ahead by four points in the RCP Average for the Trump-Harris race, and now he is ahead by 2.8 points in the current RCP Average. In the July 10-11 PPP poll, Trump led Harris by eight points in Arizona.
